Windows mobile presentatie op WWPC

De Microsoft Partner conferentie staat voor de deur. Volgende week maandag zal deze officieel beginnen. Zondag is een preconference day waarin met name ingegaan wordt op de nieuwe WAVE 14 technologieen die eraan staan te komen (ofwel Office, SharePoint en OCS 2010).

Ik zal 6 presentaties op de WWPC (mee) organiseren. 1 daarvan gaat over Windows Mobile. In de sessie ga ik in op enkele klantcases waarbij wij het Windows Mobile platform als standaard hebben ingezet. Daarbij hebben in veel gevallen standaardisatieslagen plaatsgevonden. Het voordeel daarvan is redelijk direct aan te wijzen. Beheerafdelingen besparen enorme kosten doordat met standaard producten als Exchange vervolgens het beheer over de Windows Mobiles gedaan kan worden.

Veel interessanter is echter de mogelijkheid om relatief snel applicaties voor Windows Mobiles te organiseren. Een voorbeeld daarvan is een applicatie waarbij een inspecteur met zijn standaard Windows Mobile op locatie rapporten in kan vullen.
